El Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica, a trav\u00e9s del \u00c1rea VI, que dirige el doctor Joan Manuel Bazan, realiz\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles un operativo de orientaci\u00f3n, con el apoyo de su equipo de colaboradores, para la concienciaci\u00f3n y educaci\u00f3n, en favor de la prevenci\u00f3n de accidentes de tr\u00e1nsito; dirigido a choferes, con motivo del feriado de Semana Santa.<\/p>\n

\"\"La jornada tuvo lugar en el Kil\u00f3metro 9 de la Autopista Duarte del Distrito Nacional, durante la actividad, el doctor Bazan exhort\u00f3 a los conductores que se trasladan hacia distintos puntos del pa\u00eds a manejar con precauci\u00f3n, no consumir bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas durante el trayecto, evitar discusiones y situaciones que puedan poner en riesgo sus vidas y las de sus acompa\u00f1antes.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl asueto de Semana Santa es un tiempo para la reflexi\u00f3n y encuentro familiar, no para lamentaciones, recordemos que conmemoramos la pasi\u00f3n de Cristo y debemos actuar con responsabilidad\u201d, expres\u00f3 el director de Salud.\"\"
\nComo parte del operativo, tambi\u00e9n se entregaron kits de primeros auxilios y folletos educativos a los conductores, reforzando as\u00ed, el mensaje preventivo en esta \u00e9poca de alto flujo vehicular.<\/p>\n
