{"id":2549,"date":"2026-10-29T16:34:57","date_gmt":"2026-10-29T16:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sociedadyseguridadsocial.org\/?p=2549"},"modified":"2026-10-29T16:37:43","modified_gmt":"2026-10-29T16:37:43","slug":"copardom-realizara-congreso-sobre-salud-mental-y-seguridad-laboral-ante-aumento-de-accidentes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sociedadyseguridadsocial.org\/?p=2549","title":{"rendered":"Copardom realizar\u00e1 congreso sobre salud mental y seguridad laboral ante aumento de accidentes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><strong>Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, 29 de octubre de 2026.<\/strong>\u2013 La Confederaci\u00f3n Patronal de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana (Copardom) celebrar\u00e1 los d\u00edas 11 y 12 de noviembre su XXIV Congreso sobre Prevenci\u00f3n de Riesgos Laborales, enfocado en la salud mental, el bienestar y la seguridad de los trabajadores.<\/p>\n<p>El encuentro, que tendr\u00e1 lugar en el Hotel Jaragua bajo el lema \u00abLa Nueva Cultura Empresarial: Salud Mental, Bienestar y Seguridad Laboral\u00bb, se realiza en un contexto de aumento de los accidentes de trabajo y de los indicadores relacionados con enfermedades profesionales y salud mental.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan estad\u00edsticas del Instituto Dominicano de Prevenci\u00f3n y Protecci\u00f3n de Riesgos Laborales (Idoppril), entre enero y septiembre de 2026 se registraron 28,808 accidentes laborales, un incremento del 7.8 % respecto al mismo per\u00edodo de 2025, cuando se reportaron 26,727 casos. De los accidentes registrados este a\u00f1o, 16,067 ocurrieron en los centros de trabajo y 12,412 durante los desplazamientos de los trabajadores.<\/p>\n<p>Las enfermedades profesionales pasaron de 76 a 115 casos, mientras que las licencias por salud mental aumentaron de 18 a 35, equivalentes a incrementos del 51.3 % y 94.4 %, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<h3>Expertos abordar\u00e1n salud mental y prevenci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>La presidenta de Copardom, Laura Pe\u00f1a Izquierdo, explic\u00f3 que el congreso forma parte de la celebraci\u00f3n del 80 aniversario de la organizaci\u00f3n y busca impulsar una cultura empresarial que integre la prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos y el bienestar f\u00edsico y emocional como elementos esenciales de la productividad y la sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n<p>El programa reunir\u00e1 a especialistas y ejecutivos que compartir\u00e1n experiencias sobre bienestar laboral, salud mental en las organizaciones, formaci\u00f3n de operadores de equipos pesados, liderazgo e inteligencia artificial aplicada al trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los participantes figuran Nieves Ramos, del Grupo SID; Juan Fernando Salcedo y Melody Amarante, de Barrick Pueblo Viejo; Margarita Quijano, y Ariel Almaz\u00e1n. Tambi\u00e9n se contempla un panel sobre cultura empresarial con representantes de Cemdoe, EGE Haina y Grupo Universal.<\/p>\n<h3>Actos por el 80 aniversario<\/h3>\n<p>Como parte de la agenda conmemorativa, el martes 10 de noviembre se celebrar\u00e1 un c\u00f3ctel privado que incluir\u00e1 una conferencia magistral del expresidente del Tribunal Constitucional Milton Ray Guevara y la participaci\u00f3n de Roberto Su\u00e1rez, secretario general de la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional de Empleadores.<\/p>\n<p>La inauguraci\u00f3n oficial del congreso est\u00e1 prevista para el mi\u00e9rcoles 11 de noviembre, a las 9:00 de la ma\u00f1ana, con intervenciones de Laura Pe\u00f1a Izquierdo, el ministro de Trabajo, Eddy Olivares, y el presidente del Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (Conep), Celso Juan Marranzini.<\/p>\n<p>Con esta iniciativa, Copardom busca promover entornos laborales m\u00e1s seguros y saludables, colocando la prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos y la salud
